On October 3, 2026, I traveled to Sacramento, California, to The Cinders bar and grill. On the agenda for that evening were Banger, Screaming Bloody Mary’s, Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs, and Echo Hill, and what a time we had.
First up was Banger from Sacramento, California. These guys wailed as they threw down their set. They were a stellar, high-energy band. At one point, they even had their bass player play through the speaker. It was a great set with a fun band, and I hope I get to see them again.

Screaming Bloody Mary’s were up next. They hail from the San Francisco Bay Area, and they shred. The lead singer, Dave, said he had cancer recently, and they have taken a couple of years off because of it. Well, those couple of years did wonders because they were full of energy, and that made for a wild set. It was a blast seeing them play, and I am glad Dave is doing better.

When the Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs took the stage, they had a hearty case of problems, from missing a head unit to pedal issues to a bad guitar chord. Fortunately, it turned out to be the chord issue, and the show went on. They were fabulous as they cranked through their set. At one point, Frank threw the offending cable out to the crowd for them to destroy it, then said, on second thought, for someone in the crowd to take it outside. Who knows what happened to it, but it was gone a few minutes later. They played their set and eventually made their way out to the crowd, where he said that was as far as he could go because of the alternate cord he used. The bass player, Dino, managed to get out much further than Frank and he rocked it. Overall it was a solid set and had us all wishing for more.

Echo Hill was up next, hailing from Sacramento, California, and these guys (and a girl) know a thing or two about shredding. Their strong, melodic sound was just what the crowd needed after the hard-charging Cheetahs. They were awesome in their playing as they cruised along. They weren’t exactly the musical flair of the night, but it was welcome music. Their set was exciting and kept the crowd motivated as they played their rad songs. It was a solid set, and I found out afterward that the bass player, Amy, was ill. She rocked the stage, and then she made a beeline for home and rest. I hope she gets better soon.
